Sheriff’s Office to Host Stuff the Cruiser

(Canton, Ohio) – The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is inviting the public to help local kids in need by participating in the upcoming Stuff the Cruiser event.

The school supply drive, organized by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office Spouses Support Group and the Stark County Deputies Association, will be held on Thursday, August 8th from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at two locations, Walmart on SR 62 in Canton and Walmart in Massillon.

Volunteers will be collecting school supplies for all grade levels. The supplies will then be given to the Sheriff’s Office’s 15 School Resource Officers to distribute to students. “Every student deserves access to resources and supplies that set them up for success,” explained Sheriff George T. Maier. “We are just doing our part to help towards that goal.”
