(Alliance, Ohio) – A student at Regina Coeli in Alliance has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.
Reports indicate officials with the Alliance Health Department and Stark County Catholic Schools confirmed the positive student test on Tuesday. They indicated anyone who came within close contact with the infected student has already been put into quarantine. As of Wednesday morning, two other students were quarantined, but no additional positive tests have been announced.
The school enrolls 110 students from preschool to grade 5. Students returned to school on August 24th. The positive case is the first known student case in Stark County since schools have reopened. No further updates are available at this time.
