Teachers receiving the COVID 19 vaccine in Ohio schools

(Ohio) – School districts across Ohio are continuing to administer the COVID 19 vaccine to teachers and staff as of February 1st.

Governor Mike DeWine has stated, however, the state does not have enough of the COVID-19  vaccine for everyone within school districts by the March 1st goal. Officials indicate approximately 55,000 shots were expected to be allocated weekly at the start of the rollout for schools. Estimates indicate there are more than 330,000 K-12 teachers and staff on the list to qualify for the vaccines this month.
