The Master Recycler program: In Session soon!
Participants of The Master Recycler program will get the chance to dive deep into their interest in recycling and waste reduction. Walking away with a pool of information that they may use to make a difference in their own lives and in their community.

The goal of The Master Recycler program is to shape advocates for recycling and eco-conscious living. With lessons from innovative leaders, tours of local facilities and service learning projects.. The Master Recycler program offers a plethora of opportunities for participants to expand on knowledge that can help them make a difference in their community.
Various topics that the program explores include:
- Recycling and landfill facility operations.
- Reuse of local resources
- Food waste and Composting
- Water quality
- Litter prevention
- Alternatives to household hazardous waste and electric waste

The Recycling District assures safe and sanitary disposal of solid waste for the residents of Stark, Tuscarawas, and Wayne Counties. Their goal is to reduce reusable or renewable wastes from entering landfills within the district. The Solid Waste District accomplish this through the development of residential and industrial programs that educate, promote, provide, implement, and improve recycling opportunities that will preserve landfill space now and into the future.
