(New Philadelphia, Ohio) – New Philadelphia City Schools will be offering families the opportunity to choose the education approach that is best for them.
The district announced this week their Responsible Restart plan. Officials explained that the plan represents months of work by a variety of teams in collaboration with the City of New Philadelphia’s Health Department. Officials explained that the plan is intended to provide an overview of three educational delivery scenarios and one fully digital option that the district will be prepared to enact if needed.
Families will have the choice of enrolling their students in the fully online/digital education using NP Virtual Academy or keeping their students in which plan the NPCSD is currently operating under:
- Plan A – 100% In-Person Education
- Plan B – Modified In-Person Education (A combination of in-person & remote education)
- Plan C – 100% Remote Education
Officials added that the decision regarding with of the three plans the district will operate under will be determined by the following chart:
