The Tusky Valley Local School district is inviting the public to an event that will focus on what approaches should be taken to ensure safety and security at schools.
All district parents, students, and community members are invited to attend.
Superintendent Mark Murphy will join Tuscarawas County Sheriff Orvis Campbell to discuss district crisis protocol, drills, and active shooter scenarios.
Officials note there will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and discuss concerns.
The event will be held on Tuesday, March 6th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Auditorium at Tusky Valley High School.
It is free, but registration is encouraged.
