(Wilmont, Ohio) – The Wilderness Center is inviting families to experience the upcoming Enchanted Forest.
Officials explain that families will be escorted along pumpkin-lit trails by volunteer fireflies and meet volunteers dressed up as animals. They will sing songs, tell jokes and share stories of how they forage and feed themselves in the nighttime woodlands.
Following the walk, families can enjoy refreshments in the interpretive building. Both children and adult are welcome to wear non-scary costumes.
The half-hour group sessions depart at 6:30, 7, 7:30 and 8 p.m. on October 12th and October 13th.
The cost is $6 for members and $8 for nonmembers. It’s completely free for ages 3 and younger. You can make your reservation here.
