(New Philadelphia, Ohio) – Discover Kent State University at Tuscarawas through a Virtual Open House on Wednesday, June 10 or Thursday, July 9 from 2 to 6 p.m.
Students who are just starting their college career, transfer students, and those with some college credits but no degree are encouraged to attend and can join the virtual experience at www.kent.edu/tusc/visit-campus.
During both Virtual Open Houses, prospective students will be able to speak with admissions counselors, complete an application, and have the application fee waived. Financial aid specialists will help with filing the FAFSA to apply for financial aid. Advisors from many academic programs, including criminology and justice studies, education, nursing, engineering technology, and agribusiness will be available to provide information and answer questions. Additionally, transfer students can receive a preliminary transcript evaluation.
“The virtual open houses are a great opportunity for everyone to learn more about the opportunities available at Kent State Tuscarawas,” said Courtney Nign, Kent State Tuscarawas assistant director of enrollment management and student services. “New high school graduates and those looking to transfer or start back to college can get the help they need. Now is the time to take advantage of all Kent State Tuscarawas has to offer when most people want to stay close to home and save money.”
Nign said there is still time to apply for admission for Summer III, beginning July 9, and for the Fall Semester, beginning August 27.
Kent State Tuscarawas is located at 330 University Dr. NE, New Philadelphia.
