Welcome Back, Outdoor Lovers!

This weekend several parks will be celebrating the start of the outdoor season with their Welcome Back Weekends!

Enjoying the Outdoors is brought to you in partnership with Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District

It’s no joke! On April 1st you can join in the Welcome Back Weekend events at several MWCD parks. To welcome back seasonal campers, Atwood Lake Park, Tappan Lake Park, Seneca Lake Park, and Charles Mill Lake Park will have events on Saturday, April 1 to celebrate the start of the camping season! You can visit the Nature Center at Tappan to play Animal Fact or Fiction or participate in kid and adult BINGO at the Messerly Recreation Center at Charles Mill Lake Park.

The following weekend, you can visit with the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs at the four participating parks. Some parks will be offering crafts, photo opportunities, and Easter morning services. Check out the links below to find a local Easter weekend celebration!
