(New Philadelphia, Ohio) – The public is invited to the Halloween Carnival this Saturday, October 30th at New Towne Mall.
The event will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in Parking Lot B across from Applebees. Activities will include a semi-truck show along with other big trucks and cars. Food, drinks, games, prizes, a bounce house, silent auction and more will also take place at the event. All activities will be held outside. Trunk or treating will begin at 3:00 p.m. with a costume contest at 5:00 p.m. where cash prizes will be awarded.
Event organizers indicated the event is to benefit for the Floyd Kaiser family from Strasburg. Officials noted Floyd is a local truck driver who is unable to work currently due to a serious injury. He has been receiving treatment at a medical care facility since August with the expectation he’ll return home in November.
