If you purchased one of these 2 Fisher-Price infant gliders for your baby, stop using them as they are being recalled immediately.

There have been 4 infant deaths reported and the United States Consumer and Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recalled 2 Fisher-Price gliders in June 2021.  Babies who were placed on their back unrestrained were found to have rolled over to their stomachs and suffocated.  They ranged in age between 11 weeks, 2 months, and 4 months old.  The gliders have a motor and the unit can move back and forth and sideways when turned on.

CPSC continues to emphasize that the best place for a baby to sleep is on a firm, flat surface in a crib, bassinet, or pack n play/play yard.  There should be no blankets, bumpers or toys in their sleeping area to avoided accidental suffocation.

Safe sleep is as easy as A, B, CAloneBack, and Crib.
