Dover Public Library Resumes Paint Night Programs

(Dover, Ohio) – Dover Public Library is pleased to announce the return of its popular in-person Paint Night programs.

When They’ll be Held

Programs  will resume on Saturday, June 12 at 4:00 PM. At this time, the Dover Public Library’s Paint Nights will be limited to eight students and will cost $5 per adult student to help cover the cost of supplies. The class will be repeated if there is demand. Interested patrons are asked to call the library at 330-343-6123 to register or for more information.

The Project Theme

The first paint night at the Dover Public Library will feature a painting project entitled “Tropical Sunset.” The easy tutorial will include how to create a gradient background and a silhouette foreground to create a beautiful piece of artwork for your home or for a gift.

“If you’ve never been to a paint night before or don’t think you can paint, this is a good project to start with,” says Teen/Outreach Services Manager Liz Strauss, who will be leading the class. “It is easy, but, above all, it is fun!”

A Beginner’s Class

The beginner class will be repeated if more students are interested. Future classes may build on the skills learned from the Tropical Sunset class to teach more advanced techniques. Interested patrons can contact Strauss at 330-343-6123 for more information or to register.
