The Wilderness Center in Wilmot, Ohio is partnering with Lockport Brewery in Bolivar, Ohio to offer a “Night in with Nature” on Mar. 25, 2022.
“Attendees” will pick up their meal and beverages from Lockport Brewery or The Wilderness Center during the day on March 25 and then tune in at 6:30 pm via Zoom for a fun and educational program.
The program is titled “Fifty Shades of Green” and explores the amazing adaptations plants evolved to attract pollinators, spread seeds, and create future generations. Senior Naturalist Carrie Elvey will lead the online webinar.
Tickets are $75 and include a pasta dinner for two, a 32 oz growler can of Lockport beer and two Lockport glasses. Meals come with utensils and complete instructions for reheating. Tickets must be purchased by March 18.
This program is geared towards adults, and adult beverages will be part of the meal. Because the meal includes alcohol, all ticketing will be handled through Lockport Brewery, but all proceeds benefit The Wilderness Center’s conservation and educational programming.
