(Orange Township, Ohio) – A Mapleton High School student-athlete, not currently attending classes on campus, has tested positive for COVID-19.
School officials confirmed the information on Monday, October 12th. The Ashland County Health Department, according to reports, in collaboration with the high school school nurse, principal, athletic director and coach, is conducting contact tracing.
Officials indicated the ACHD will be in contact with individuals if there is a need to quarantine.
