Ashland organization launches art project to promote diversity

(Ashland, Ohio) Celebrating diversity, promoting unity, and strengthening community. A local organization is launching a unique project to promote diversity.

An Ashland-based organization is encouraging the community to participate in an upcoming art project designed to promote diversity and inclusion. Safe Haven of Ashland is launching the Helping Hands – Healing Hands community art project on:

Thursday, March 25th at noon

Friday, March 26th at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, March 27th at 1:00 p.m.

During the art workshop, participants will be led through a guided exercise to envision a safe, healthy, and unified community. Participants will then be given a window of time to express their vision for the future through art. No prior art experience is needed to join and children are also welcome.

The first 50 participants to register will receive a free art supply kit to use during the workshop.
