Back to School Bash Planned for Saturday

(Uhrichsville, Ohio) – Fingerprint kits, games, and activities can be expected at the 2nd Annual Twin City Kids Coalition Back To School Bash.

Claymont school students and families are invited to the event this Saturday, August 18th from noon until 3:00 p.m. at the Claymont Intermediate building. Officials note they will be helping local Claymont students with school supplies and representatives from the Tuscarawas County Health Department, Kent State University at Tuscarawas, and Personal and Family Counseling Services will also be there.

The Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office will be passing out fingerprint kits as well. All age groups are welcome.

“Last year we were able to help 117 students with backpacks and school supplies,” explained Coalition Director and event organizer Wendy Mann. “We are very blessed to have the help of Claymont City Schools to provide us a building to make the Back To School Bash a success.”

She added, “With the start of school being such a stressful time of the year we felt that this is an easy way to have fun and help out some of our area parents and students have a healthy, bright, happy Back To School.”
