Barbara DeJacimo – Candidate for Louisville City School Board of Education

Barbara DeJacimo is among three candidates running alongside one another for positions on the Louisville City School Board of Education.

Crislip has been campaigning with Richard Crislip and William R. Wyss Jr.

Crislip did not return a call seeking comment and the below information is taken directly from the candidates’ joint website: https://ourstudentsourfuture.net/

Barb DeJacimo is a life-long Ohio resident and is actively involved in the community as a proud mother of two students. She started teaching Language Arts at Perry Local and earned both a National Board Certification for Early Adolescence ELA and the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Education. As Barb’s family grew, she made the very difficult but rewarding decision to resign from her teaching position to focus on raising her children. Since both daughters are in school, Barb continues serving students as a part-time home instructor.

Barb enjoys being actively involved in her daughters’ lives, and she strives to support the girls in finding their passions and encourages them to try new things. Barb firmly believes our children are the heart and future of the Louisville community, and as a future board member, she wants to be a part in providing the highest quality academic, fine arts, and extra-curricular programs for our students.
