BCC to Host Adult Education Open House

Buckeye Career Center is opening its doors to prospective adult students for its winter open house.

The BCC Adult Education Open House is Wednesday, February 28, 2018, from 4:30-6:30PM at the campus in New Philadelphia. It is open to recent high school graduates, adults of all ages wanting to start a new career, or even adults hoping to learn additional skills.

Attendees can gather more information about the 11 full-time programs being offered in the fall and speak with admissions representatives about the courses and financial aid options.

The programs include Administrative Assisting, Automotive Collision Repair, Automotive Technician, Cosmetology, Dental Assisting, Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Heavy Equipment/ CLD A Operator, Medical Assisting, Medical Office & Billing Specialist, Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy (OPOTA) and Utility Lineworker. All of the programs, except cosmetology can be completed within nine months. Cosmetology is a two-year program.

The $50 registration fee for adult education classes will be waived for any prospective student who registers for classes the night of the open house.
