My contribution to the Newsymom platform is possible because on this day, five years ago, I entered a covenant with God and my husband, Willie. I am so grateful that His grace and mercy has kept us. Happy 5^th Wedding Anniversary Willie! There are many things that I love about us but my absolute favorite would have to be the fruit of this covenant that was born on this day, one month ago. Happy One Month Birthday Solomon!

Throughout the last five years, we have learned a lot both as individuals and as husband and wife and now God has entrusted us with the gift of a son. When I gave birth to Solomon, I gave birth to so much more than a beautiful baby boy. On May 20, 2020, at 6:49P, I not only gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in the form of a young black king but I also gave birth to:

Solomon Adaiah Josef, your name is powerful and so are you. You have brought a peace that cannot be explained in times like these and God sent you into this world with purpose so that He can increase not only your dad’s and my life but the life of everyone that you encounter.

Your arrival made me a mother and birthed a new level to my prayer life. I pray that God guides your dad and me to raise you to know Him and be who He has called you to be spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially. I pray that you nurture your own relationship with Christ and that you seek Him in all that you do. I pray that God covers you and protects you from any and everything that was designed to harm you. I pray that you know and embrace who He created you to be. I pray that you grow to embody strength, courage, and boldness to pursue all of your endeavors and fulfill His calling on your life. I pray that you give and receive love. I pray that you laugh often and that you are full of unspeakable joy. I pray that you live your life to the fullest. I pray that you live a life poured out and that every life that you encounter is changed for the better. I pray that you know that Mommy loves you more than words can express and she will do her very best to be the best Mommy that she can be.
