Pleasant Hill Lake Day Camps: 

Jun 11th- Kids Nature Mini CampThis one-day camp is for kids ages 11 to 16, to discover nature, with a focus on Reptiles, Stream Study, Birds of Prey, and Whoa Zone Obstacle Course. The camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm. Should wear clothes that can get wet for stream and Whoa Zone activities. All equipment is provided. Registration is required and space is limited. 
Jun 23 –Art & Adventure Mini CampThis one-day camp is for kids ages 11 to 16, to complete a variety of art projects and get outside. The camp runs from 9am to 4pm. All equipment is provided. Registration required and space is limited. 

Morning Art – Stain Glass Pendant, Water color, and Spray paint art

Afternoon Adventure– Kayaking and WhoaZone Water Obstacle Course.  $30 includes all equipment and instruction!

Jul 21 –Art & Adventure Ages

This one-day camp is for kids ages 11 to 16, to complete a variety of art projects and get outside. The camp runs from 9am to 4pm. All equipment is provided. Registration required and space is limited.

July 25-26 – Jr. Adventure Camp

This junior adventure camp is for kids ages 8 to 10, to discover outdoor skills including kayaking, archery, fishing, and survival! As well as the WhoaZone adventure course at the swim beach. The camp runs from 9am to 4pm both days and focuses on a different outdoor skills each day. All equipment is provided. Registration required and space is limited. 

Monday- Survival Skills, Archery, and BB gun range

Tuesday- Kayaking, Fishing, and WhoaZone water obstacle course

Camp includes all equipment and instruction. The final day of camp includes the Passport to Fishing course, and all participants that complete the course will receive a rod, reel, and tackle box to take home! 

Jul 28-29 Outdoor Adventure Camp 

This adventure camp is for kids ages 11 to 16, to discover outdoor skills including kayaking, archery, fishing, and survival! As well as the WhoaZone adventure course at the swim beach. The camp runs from 9am to 4pm both days and focuses on a different outdoor skills each day. All equipment is provided. Registration required and space is limited. 

Thursday – Survival Skills, Archery, and BB gun range

Friday – Kayaking, Fishing, and WhoaZone water obstacle course

Camp includes all equipment and instruction. The final day of camp includes the Passport to Fishing course, and all participants that complete the course will receive a rod, reel, and tackle box to take home! 

Aug 1-2- Jr. Outdoor Adventure Camp 2

Aug 6 –Pirates Adventure at the Lake

10 am-12noon-Nate the Great Magic Show and Balloon Twisting making balloon swords and magic

1 pm-4 pm- Meet Live Pirates of the Rusty Cutlass to learn to talk like a pirate, go kayaking, hunt for buried treasure, pirate-themed games, and come aboard the “Black Vulture” Pirate ship for your pirate photo, and enjoy the day at the Lake.

11 am 6 pm-The Whoa Zone on the water obstacle course will be open so you can try to “walk the plank” for an additional fee.

Aug 8 – Messy Play Mini Camp Get ready for some messy fun and leave the cleanup to us! This one-day camp is for kids, ages 6-11, to explore water beads, shaving cream art, ooblek, tie dye, and other messy activities! Come in clothes that can get messy! The camp runs from 9am to 4pm. Cost is $30 per child and includes instruction, equipment, snacks, and an unforgettable camp experience!

Kids will need to bring a bottle of water and packed lunch. Registration required and space is limited.

WED, JUN 15 AT 10 AM Outdoor Adventure Mini Camp for Kids Enjoy an outdoor adventure camp for kids ages 10-15, to discover nature, play games, make new friends, and more at Charles Mill Lake Park!
Discover a variety of activities, including kayaking, nature hikes, pontoon ride, games, crafts, and archery. Cost includes one car pass, all equipment and instruction, plus an unforgettable camp experience!  Kids will need to bring a bottle of water, sunscreen, swimsuit, and packed lunch. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.
 

 THU, JUN 16 AT 10 AM Junior Nature Mini Camp for Kids

Enjoy an fun jungle themed adventure camp for kids ages 9-14, to discover nature, play games, make new friends, and more at Charles Mill Lake Park!
Discover a variety of activities, including hikes, meet live animals, crafts, games, and a pontoon ride to Jungle Island! Cost includes one car pass, t-shirt, and an unforgettable camp experience!
Kids will need to bring a bottle of water and sunscreen. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.
 
WED, JUL 13 AT 10 AM  Junior Art Mini Camp for Kids

Discover a variety of food prep options, including pie irons, foil, sticks, and dutch oven cooking, plus take a boat ride. Cost includes one car pass, all materials and instruction, food, and an unforgettable camp experience!

Responsible stewards dedicated to providing the benefits of flood reduction, conservation and recreation in the Muskingum River Watershed. The MWCD is the largest conservancy district in the state and led the effort to construct 14 dams and reservoirs. The MWCD has jurisdiction for its operations in all or portions of an 18-county area. The 18 counties wholly or partially contained in the MWCD jurisdiction are Ashland, Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Holmes, Harrison, Knox, Licking, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Richland, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, Wayne, and Washington.
