We all know that trying to get our kids to sleep when their routines have been interrupted is not easy. With this in mind, Disney has re-launched the Bedtime Hotline.
Through the end of April, parents can now call 1-877-7-MICKEY at bedtime. One the other end of the phone will be Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, or Goofy. They will provide a bedtime message for your little ones.
Sure, to adults the Disney bedtime hotline may seem like a far fetched idea to accomplish the peace and serenity of a happily snoozing child. But, many parents at this point are open to trying anything!
A study published by the National Sleep Foundation found the appropriate sleep duration for newborns is between 14 and 17 hours, infants between 12 and 15 hours, toddlers between 11 and 14 hours, preschoolers between 10 and 13 hours, and school-aged children between 9 and 11 hours. For teenagers, 8 to 10 hours was considered appropriate, 7 to 9 hours for young adults and adults, and 7 to 8 hours of sleep for older adults.
