The Dennison Fire Department is reminding the public of an upcoming event designed to make sure kids have everything they need for a successful school year.
The department took to Facebook to share a flyer regarding the upcoming ‘Fill the Truck’ event.
Collections are already underway, but officials note the main collection event will take place on August 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Fire Station.
Supplies will then be distributed to elementary students within the Claymont School District and Immaculate Conception.
Officials encourage those who can’t make it on the day of the event, to feel free to drop off donations anytime now through August 19th.
