The Newcomerstown Police Department (Tuscarawas County, Ohio)  recently took to Facebook to remind parents of a safety feature on the popular Snapchat app.

Ghost ModeIn the post they first send out a warning, “did you know that there is a new update to the social media app that can show your friends your exact location.”

The department then shares information about Snap Maps, which can lead people exactly to your house and potentially set you up for a crime to occur.
