The Avondale Elementary Guys with Ties program participated in a Thanksgiving-inspired event last week.
On Tuesday, November 21st the young men, accompanied by members of the Stark County Sheriff’s Office, set out to spread some holiday cheer.
They delivered pumpkin pies to their nearby elderly neighbors in the community.
School officials explained, “Guys with Ties teaches kids to be good neighbors. This is just one way our guys are showing how much we appreciate our neighbors.”
They added the new shirts and ties worn by the guys were donated by a community member.
