The Dover Public library is kicking off a new round of activities for home-schooled kids this month.
“We try to provide a wide range of educational activities that may fall outside of their normal home-school curriculum,” explained Youth Services Manager Claire Kandle. “We want parents to know that the library is a great way to supplement teaching at home and that we have created some really fun way to learn!”
This winter and spring, kids can look forward to lessons in papermaking, sign language, Planet Earth (and Earth Day), and a hands-on introduction to computer programming (no screen time involved).
Classes are held twice each month on Wednesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with first class on February 21st.
Please call the library at 330-343-6123 for more information. Online registration is also available at www.doverlibrary.org/event-calendar/
