How to Support Educators

If your young children are heading to a classroom this fall, you might be wondering how you ensure their success and support their educators.

This campaign is brought to you by SCCAA Head Start.

Moms, dads, and caregivers play a crucial role in their child’s success in the classroom. Another key player is your child’s teachers. Wondering how you can support him or her this school year?

  1. Volunteer in your child’s room
  2. Attend school board meetings, your child’s parent-teacher conferences, and be active in the district
  3. Support your public library
  4. Participate in fundraisers and ask your child’s teacher if they have a “wish list”
  5. May 1 is Principals’ Day, May 2 is School Bus Drivers’ Appreciation Day, and May 3 is Teachers’ Appreciation Day!
