(New Philadelphia, Ohio) – The Tuscarawas County Public Library System’s Main Library will host Vickie Ionno, New Philadelphia City Health Commissioner, on Thursday, March 19th at 6:30 PM.
Ionno will be discussing the most current information on the recent spread of the new Coronavirus, COVID-19.
The presentation will help give an overview of Coronavirus – how it began and why it is a public health concern. The discussion will also include what can be done to keep your family and the community healthy.
“We really want to stress that this program will be about facts, not fear,” said Ionno.
The most up-to-date statistics made possible by daily updates from the Ohio Department of Health will be included in the presentation.
“Keeping the public well-informed with the most current and most accurate information is always a top priority of the County Library,” said Library Director Michelle McMorrow Ramsell. “This is especially important right now.”
