The New Philadelphia City School district is announcing a lockdown in effect at two buildings.
District officials took to Facebook with the following message:
“[New Philadelphia High School] & [Welty Middle School] are in a yellow door lockdown. This is a precautionary measure. We have the New Philadelphia Police Department on seen & working collaboratively with them. No student will be leaving campus until further notice. This is for the safety of all & all students are safe.”
