How to Have a Mindful Morning.

Do you currently have a morning routine that you follow? Do you need help creating a more mindful morning? Did you know how you spend your mornings dictates how your whole day will go?

I think as moms we have so much on our plates and we are always worried about our kid’s needs and wants and forget about our own. We are just as important if not more. We need to fill our cup up in order to pour into others.

I try to make it a priority to have some solo mommy time daily. Right now that’s usually at night time when they all go off to bed. I’m a night owl. I have always been.

So what does that solo time look like? For me, it’s daily devotionals, practicing gratitude, prayer time,  daily affirmations, and moving my body.

I’m not a morning person. At times I wish I was. But this mama loves her sleep! But I also know when I start my day off on the right foot with some of those things I mentioned, my day goes better. I’m happier, more grateful, more patient, and just overall feel good! You know the saying, when mama is not happy, no one is….We don’t want that!

I want to practice a more intentional mindful morning routine.

I’m excited to announce that I will be hosting a mindful Mornings 5-day challenge on Facebook next week! Something that I need so badly and thought maybe someone else could benefit from it as well!

We are going to spend 5 days really testing out an intentional morning routine, as an opportunity to be with ourselves, reflect on what we want, and be present and peaceful … even if it’s just for a few moments each day! I’m looking forward to it and would love to share it with you!
