What is Newsymom? At its core, Newsymom is a news outlet for moms. In addition to being a news outlet, Newsymom is a community, a family of moms that support, encourage, and empower each other to be the best version of themselves. The Newsymom family is a safe space for moms, a respite if you will—a space to recharge and regroup.

My first encounter with Newsymom was at a community baby shower that I attended for work, prior to becoming a mother myself. That event led to a meeting, that led to a professional, collaborative partnership. Working with Newsymom was so enjoyable that I joined the family while I was pregnant with Solomon.

Being a part of this family, this community, has been a blessing in so many ways. I have grown professionally and personally since connecting with Newsymom. Newsymom is a platform to connect with other moms and share news, stories, events, tips, and so much more. While I have gained so much from Newsymom, my favorite part is being able to help others by sharing resources and my own journey so that other moms know that they’re not alone.

I am so grateful for Michaela and the rest of my Newsymom family. It is amazing to be a part of something so great. Moms change the world and Newsymom is changing the world one mom at a time.
