The Pro Football Hall of Fame is announcing an NFL FLAG Clinic for local girls at the 2017 Enshrinement Week, Powered by Johnson Controls.
According to a press release, the NFL and USA Football will host a free NFL FLAG Clinic for 150 local girls ages 6-12 to have fun and learn the fundamentals of flag football.
Participants will be coached by members of the Cleveland Fusion Women’s Football Team and the 2016 NFL FLAG Championship teams from the 13-14 girls’ and boys’ divisions.
Officials explained that the NFL FLAG Girls’ Clinic is one of many youth-focused festivities celebrating the beginning of the 2017 football season. Activities taking place during the 2017 Enshrinement Week Powered by Johnson Controls will integrate local youth and unite the football community, bringing together the best of past and future generations.
Also, they explained, that kids can Play Football this summer through NFL Foundation-funded camps and events hosted by Clubs and NFL partners such as USA Football. For more information visit playfootball.com.
The event will be held Friday, August 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the National Football and Youth Sports Complex, 2333 17th Street NW Canton, Ohio 44708.
Registration for the event begins at 9:00 a.m. on Friday.
