Novosel DIY Home Project – Storage Boxes

Use this DIY home project to turn your leftover cardboard from Christmas boxes into beautiful storage boxes that can be used all year!

This DIY Home Project is brought to you by Novosel Real Estate LTD.

After Christmas, you may find yourself with a lot of unused cardboard boxes. Instead of just recycling them, you can create beautiful and useful storage boxes.

This sustainable DIY is good for the environment and can organize your house too!

Here’s what you’ll need:
  • Cardboard boxes
  • Hot glue/Hot glue gun
  • Scissors
  • Paint
  • Twine/Jute Rope
  • Fabric/Contact Paper

Like with any DIY, you can use any type of twine or fabric to personalize these boxes. There are unlimited decor options that will fit with this DIY.

This DIY can be used for big boxes that will hold a lot of things or small ones that can be placed in cabinets.

First, collect the cardboard boxes you want to use for your project. They can range in sizes depending on how you want to use them. Then, you can either cut the flaps off or tuck them inside. If you do decide to cut them off, you can recycle them or use them for more organization.

Next, gather your materials and transform box. At this stage, you can do a few things to cover it: hot glue twine or jute rope, paint, glue fabric, or use contact paper. It depends on the style you’re trying to achieve.

The previous step may take some time to do. It will be worth it when you have stylish storage boxes and a place for all of your things.

After covering your box, you can add handles with jute robe or any other finishing touches.

Finally, you’re all finished!

Now it’s time to start filling your boxes up and organizing your space.
