NP Students Participate in National Walk Out for Gun Law Reform

New Philadelphia High School students join thousands of others across the country in a protest movement over gun violence.

Many of the protests, including the one at New Philadelphia High School, began at 10:00 a.m. today.

The demonstrations were planned for March 14th, exactly one month after 17 people were killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

The protest lasted 17 minutes in honor of the lives taken on February 14th.  Even larger protests are planned in Washington in the coming weeks.
