The New Towne Mall is announcing Santa has arrived!
Friday, November 17th marks the first day Santa will take his seat among the elves and other helpers at the mall in New Philadelphia.
Jason Jordan, General Manager at New Towne Mall said: “We are as excited as ever to kick off the holiday season, welcoming Santa Claus back to New Towne Mall to bring smiles and warmth to children and families in our area. There is something universally magical about visiting Santa, and we’re delighted so many families choose to experience this special holiday tradition with us.”
Santa will be ready to capture photos, hear wish lists and make memories now through Sunday, December 24th during retail hours.
New Towne Mall also invites families to celebrate the holiday season during the “Wishes & Wants” event on Saturday, December 2, from 12pm-3pm. The free event will include festive activities for the kids and live music. Anywhere Tree Care will bring their truck into the mall to host a unique toy drive with an aim to “fill the truck” with toy donations from the public for local families in need.
In addition to regular Santa hours, an exclusive event is also planned to cater to children with all spectrums of special needs and their families. On Sunday, December 3, from 9am to 11am, “Sensitive Santa” – a compassionate event where children with special needs can enjoy a time-honored visit with Santa – will be available prior to normal retail hours, offering a quieter, calmer, sensory-friendly experience. The event is free and reservations can be made through the mall website.
