Before the school year starts, you have time to squeeze a little more fun into your summer!
This campaign is brought to you by SCCAA Head Start.
The start of a new school year brings out many emotions in parents and kids- anxiety, excitement, frustration, and more. Eliminate some of that stress by enrolling your kids in SCCAA Head Start and relaxing for the final weeks of summer!
5 End of Summer Activities
Have a pool day! Many local public pools are celebrating the end of the season. Grab your beach towel and join in the fun.
Plan a zoo visit. You could also visit a local waterpark, amusement park, or kids’ museum!
Stay up late and catch fireflies. Other late-night activities include star gazing, campfire stories, and roasting marshmallows.
Shop some end-of-summer yard sales. Give each family member $5 and the person who finds the wackiest purchase gets to pick the movie for a family movie night.
Try a new flavor at the ice cream shop. Challenge everyone in the family to pick a new-to-them flavor ice cream cone at your local ice cream shop!
Whatever you plan to do during the last few weeks of summer, don’t forget to register your children (0-5 years old) in Head Start! SCCAA Head Start is enrolling now! You can click here to access the online application.
