Starbucks Vanilla Frappuccino Recall Information

The bottles of Starbucks Vanilla Frappuccinos, which are sold at supermarkets and convenience stores across the nation, were first recalled in late January by PepsiCo, the manufacturer and distributor. They later expanded the recall, and are now urging consumers to check any bottles they might have at home with the following information:

  • UPC number 0 12000-81331 3
  • Expiration dates of:
    • March 8
    • May 29
    • June 4
    • June 10

The recall was due to the possibility of pieces of broken glass contained within them! Ouch!

For any Starbucks Frappuccino fans out there, you’d know the Vanilla Frappuccinos come in cases of 12, meaning there are 25,000 cases, or 300,000 affected bottles, out there! Check the UPC and expiration dates of your drinks to be sure yours aren’t affected.
