Little ghosts, goblins, witches and fairies. Another Halloween night is ahead and there are a few things to keep in mind to make sure the night is full of more treats than tricks.
Kimberly Schwind with AAA says if you’ll be behind the wheel, it is just as important if not more, that you take extra precautions.
A few more things you can do to keep everyone safe:
- Make sure kids 12 years or younger are accompanied by an adult
- Older kids should travel in groups
- Remind your kids to use cross walks and side walks
- Check all of the candy before you let your little ones dig in. If anything is opened, pitch it.
Also, don’t forget if you’re hosting a party to either serve non-alcoholic beverages or take the keys from anyone whose been drinking. In Ohio, party hosts can be held liable if one of their guests is in an accident after leaving the party.
