Tuscarawas County YMCA Invites Families to Nerf Wars – Family nights at the Tuscarawas County YMCA blast off with Nerf Wars! Find out the details on this event right here on Newsymom!

[Dover, Ohio – Feb 2, 2023] – Family nights at the Tuscarawas County YMCA blast off with Nerf Wars. Youth Program Coordinator Elizabeth Sickinger says, “We are so excited to be able to offer unique, fun programs for youth and families to stay active and be creative throughout the year. Nerf Wars is one of two family centered special events in February to kick off our 2023 Special Events Calendar.”

This years’ Nerf event will be held on Friday February 17th with 2 one hour sessions. Children in Kindergarten to 2nd Grade will play from 6-7 PM. Children in grades 3-6 will play from 7-8 PM. Parents are welcome to register as a player in both age groups (fee required) or be part of the action by helping their child participate at no cost. Players must bring their own gun and safety goggles. If equipment is needed, please contact the Y for available options. “Our members and the community have shown such great support for this event through donations of supplies for the night” states Sickinger. “We want everyone to feel welcome to come and play.” The Y will provide all darts, which are standard blue style Nerf. Snacks and prizes are included during the evening.
