Unsubstantiated Threat – Indian Valley High School

The Indian Valley Local School district is notifying the community of what officials call an ‘unsubstantiated threat’ made on Monday morning.

In a statement published on the district’s website at 10:40 a.m. they explain they located an unsubstantiated threat written on a bathroom stall in the boy’s restroom at Indian Valley High School.

“We are taking this very seriously and using every precaution to ensure the safety of our students and staff,” officials explained in the statement. “We are working with local law enforcement to make sure all conditions are safe.”

They note they are asking the community to remain calm and know they are “being very thorough” in their response.

The district also assures the public they will continue to update the community as the investigation continues.
