Workgroup Meeting on Dropout Prevention is Planned for Thursday

How can we prevent kids from dropping out of school?

The Superintendent’s Workgroup on dropout prevention and recovery is set to meet Thursday April 27th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.

The meeting will take place at the Vern Riffe Center, 77 South High Street, in Columbus.

According to a press release:

The discussion will focus on recommendations for the superintendent on how to improve alternative programs and community schools primarily enrolling students between 16 and 22 years of age who dropped out of high school or are at risk of drooping out of high school due to poor attendance, disciplinary problems or suspensions.
