It can! Symptoms often ease after menopause because the body is no longer producing estrogen, .

I have endometriosis. Can I still get pregnant?

Yes, you can still get pregnant. That said, endometriosis can make getting pregnant harder. Talk to your doctor about treatment.

How do you treat endometriosis?

Treatment depends on whether or not you’re trying to conceive. There are medicinal options as well as surgical treatments. Medicine is typically used to control your body’s hormone production.

Other health conditions associated with endometriosis?

Research has shown a link between endometriosis and:

  • Certain cancers such as ovarian and breast cancer
  • Allergies and asthma
  • Some forms of autoimmune diseases
  • Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue
