KSU Tuscarawas Engineering Technology

The Kent State University (KSU) at Tuscarawas, has over 30 degrees to choose from, low tuition, and immaculate facilities, with free well-lit parking on its peaceful landscaped campus.

Facilities

    • Founders Hall- features 136,156 square feet, academic classrooms, advising, tutoring, writing center, career resource center
    • Science and Advanced Technology Center – features 50,000 square feet
    • Performing Arts Center –  features 1,100-seat theatre
    • Tolloty Technology Incubator – designed to support entrepreneurial efforts with dedicated business incubator space for start-up companies linked to high-tech research, development, and intellectual property enterprises.
    • Library/Academic Learning Commons (ALC) features 13,777 square foot and houses four glass-enclosed offices and study rooms, the Student Services Office, campus writing center, three collaboration rooms, a conference room, and a copy center. There are 23 computers, including an ADA compliant workstation, as well as WiFi.
    • MAKERSPACE– state-of-the-art equipment offers users support for the innovative ideas inspired, created, tested, and applied in educational ways that create new business ventures and marketable products.
    • Campus Bookstore– Contains required textbooks, clothing, and academic supplies.
    • Founders Hall Gymnasium– Offers both cardiovascular and free weights access to students

Points of Pride

  • The Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology is one of 7 accredited programs in Ohio. Kent State Tuscarawas is the only campus in the Kent State system to offer the program and has expanded to provide the program at the Trumbull Campus.
  • Kent State Tuscarawas is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA)
  • Kent State Tuscarawas is the only locally owned regional campus in Ohio.
  • The campus houses the Tuscarawas Kent Archive which was established in 1992 as a partnership between the campus and the Tuscarawas County Historical Society.
  • Zero reports of campus crime in the 2020 annual security report.

Associate degrees are two-year degrees of a technical or general nature. They allow students to complete general education requirements through a two-year program, for later transfer into a four-year degree. The following associate degree programs are offered at Kent State Tuscarawas:
