In honor of Earth Day, the Dover Public Library is inviting the public to a sign language storytime event on Wednesday, April 25th.
Miss Wanda Jean will be signing the book, “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein at the library at 5:00 p.m. Kids will get to hear the story then learn how to sign the words using American Sign Language (ASL).
“This is a great event for parents and kids to do together,” explained Youth Services Manager Claire Kandle. No previous experience with ASL is necessary.
