According to Staggs, the school has a lack of substitute teachers, and with multiple staff members required to quarantine as part of contact tracing, they will move the high school to a remote format for the final two days of the week.
Staggs went on to reiterate that the district is not considered to have an outbreak, and the move is temporary.
Both this week and next week’s football games have been canceled as part of the shift. Volleyball games for the high school are postponed or canceled until at least a week from now.
More updates will be posted on the district’s website and Facebook page.
