Ohio Scholarship Enrollment Period Opens

Application windows for Ohio’s EdChoice Scholarship and Income-Based Scholarship programs are now open!

boy-1126140_640Students attending, r assigned to attend the state’s underperforming public schools qualify for a number of EdChoice Scholarships.

Scholarships are worth up to $4,650 per year for students in grades K-8 and up to $6,000 for high school students.

Officials note the scholarships are only able to be used toward tuition at the participating private school of their choice through high school graduation.

There are reportedly 60,000 scholarships available for eligible students.

Income-Based Scholarships are also available for students entering kindergarten, first, second, third or fourth grade in the 2017-2018 school year.

The family’s income must be at or below 200 percent of Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Scholarships there are worth $4,650 and again, are to be used only toward tuition at the participating private school of their choice through high school graduation.

The application window is open until July 31st.
