The Ohio Benefits Eligibility System Will Be Unavailable

(Ohio) – The Ohio Benefits Eligibility System will be shut down at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 22, and will be brought back online at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27.

There are major technical upgrades being completed on the Ohio Benefits Eligibility System. Tuscarawas County staff WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR CASE DATA while the computer system is offline. The phone lines will also be closed during this period.

If you need to apply, recertify, or renew your benefits for cash, food, or Medicaid assistance
during this time period, you can submit a paper application to your county JFS Department. County staff will screen the application for expedited food assistance, but it WILL NOT
PROCESS the application until the system is back online.

If you need food while the system is unavailable (or until your application is processed), please
contact your local JFS and request a referral to the local food pantries. JFS can also provide
referrals to other local services.
