Everyone can agree: smoking is bad for you. Smoking tobacco causes a laundry list of problems including dental problems, lung cancer, and heart disease to name a few. It’s been on the hit list for awhile, and populations of groups smoking tobacco is on the decline.

What many don’t know, is that the “alternative”, vaping, is proving to be just as bad as lighting up a cigarette. Recent research is showing us that vaping is causing loads of respiratory issues such as chronic cough, phlegm, bronchitis, new asthma diagnoses, and much more!

E-Cigarettes Aren’t the Lesser Evil

Unlike their tobacco counterparts, e-cigarettes use a chemical-filled liquid to deliver flavored nicotine to its users. Lots of teens jumped on the bandwagon, searching for the dessert and candy-flavored blends.

What these teens don’t know is that there are over 60 chemical compounds and heavy metals contained in e-cigarettes. Scientists have even found particles in the vapor equivalent to pollution! So at the end of the day, teens vaping are inhaling polluted air. (Truth About Vaping, Oh.MyLifeMyQuit.org)

There’s No Nicotine, Though?

That’s actually incorrect! It’s been found that “nicotine-free” products still have a little nicotine in them…which is the whole idea. They want users addicted to keep using and buying more.

Made with Secret Ingredients

Lots of companies have a very small list of ingredients listed in the e-cigarette fluid, such as propylene glycol, glycerol, ethylene glycol, nicotine, benzoic acid and flavor. What they don’t mention are the chemicals you could also be inhaling:
