Introducing the New Fair Queen from the Tuscarawas County Fair – The Tuscarawas County Fair appoints a new fair queen each year to reign on and inspire the community on the importance of agriculture in our lives, as well as represent Tuscarawas County! Today was the last day to enjoy festivities at the this year’s Tuscarawas County Fair!

As we’re sad this year has come to a close, we do have something to get excited about! On Monday, a new Fair Queen was crowned to represent the Tuscarawas County Fair. This new queen will represent Tusc County at other fairs, parades, and festivals, as well as pass out ribbons to the contestants from this week’s events.

(Though there’s normally a Fair King, this year, unfortunately, had no contestants.)

You may already know who won 2022 Tuscarawas County Fair Queen, but in case you didn’t, let’s start with the contestants before we announce the winner!

Here are the contestants that

interviewed for

2022 Tuscarawas County Fair Queen:

 

Brianna Beaber (16) from Stone Creek is the daughter of Jay & Dawn Beaber.

Brianna is a Junior at Indian Valley High School and is a 10-year member of Happy Homesteaders 4-H Club and a 2-year member of the Indian Valley FFA Chapter.

 

 

Norah Chismar (17) from Dover is the daughter of Steven & Megan Chismar.

Norah is a Senior at Garaway High School and is an 11-year member of the 4-H pioneers 4-H Club.

 

 

Lilyin Specht (17) from New Philadelphia is the daughter of Austin & Karen Specht.

Lilyin is a Senior at Garaway High School. She is a member of the 4-H Farmers & Friends 4-H Club.

 

 

Lexi Troyer (17) from Sugarcreek is the daughter of Clint & Lisa Troyer.

Lexi is a Senior at Garaway High School and is a 9-year member of the Buckhorn Buckeyes 4-H Club.

 

Laura Weaver (17) from Dover is the daughter of Mike & Shirley Weaver.

Laura is a Junior at Dover High School and is an 8-year member of the Prime Cuts 4-H Club.

 

Tracy Zurfley (19) from Dover is the daughter of Shawn & Sara Zurfley.

Tracy is enrolled in Kent State Tusc. and Stark State. She is a 12-year member of the Brandywine 4-Her’s and a 1-year member of the Indian Valley FFA.

Lexi Troyer!

 

Lexi Troyer was crowned as the 2022 Tuscarawas County Fair Queen on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

If you’ve been to the fair this week, you might’ve seen her handing out ribbons as part of her Fair Queen obligations! Share your love for the new fair queen on the Tuscarawas County Fair Facebook page (@tcofair) and keep an eye out for all the festivities she’ll be a part of this year, representing Tuscarawas County.
