In a world that oohs and awes over newborns and babies, it’s important to remember the moms who raise those kids and their maternal needs.
This informational campaign comes to you in partnership with the Stark County Community Action Agency.
The Stark County Community Action Agency does just that– they take care of mama. A first-time mom doesn’t know true fear until she is sent home from the hospital with a tiny infant, a healing body, and maybe a small folder with information on nursing. Moms need much more than that in their first year of parenthood.
Whether you’re a first-time mom or a mom of multiples, the Community Action Pathways HUB has the resources to take care of you.
It’s Fun (but Scary!) to be a New Mom
The SCCAA knows exactly what you mean. From assistance with medical cards to social security services, the Community Action Pathways HUB can help. They will assist with rides to doctor appointments, help find childcare for older children in the home, and help you obtains necessary baby items like a crib or car seat.
Best of all, the service is free. They want you to have a healthy pregnancy, delivery, and experience as a new mom. Their programs and services will aid you throughout the entire process.
You can reach out to the Community Action Pathways HUB at (330) 454-1676 ext. 133 or find them on Facebook (link). You can also email Mary Martell at mmartell@sccaa.org.
