It’s almost here! The 173rd Annual Tuscarawas County Fair officially opens Monday, September 18th, and runs through Sunday, September 24th. Now is the time to mark your calendars and make your plans to enjoy all the fun of the fair!
The excitement kicks off on the eve of the fair: Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 6:30pm with the Junior Fair King and Queen Contest, sponsored by First Federal Community Bank, in the Main Show Arena. Some of 4-H’s brightest youth will compete for one of the fair’s highest honors. After the competition, attendees can enjoy the rest of the festivities starting at 7:00 pm including:

- FCS Project Awards Recognition
Monday, September 18th is the official start of the 2023 Tuscarawas County Fair! Starting at 9:00am, fair goers can attend Junior Market Animal shows. Before you go, read about some of the amazing 4-H Junior Market kids including Marshall Miller and Hunter McLaughlin.

The fun continues on Tuesday, Sep 19, 2023 with a full day of festivities. The fun starts at 9:00am with more Junior Fair Shows including:

Tuesday, September 19, 2023 is SAFETY FORCES DAY, sponsored by Bob & Trudy Sensel. This means $1 admission with valid I.D. for all safety force attendees!
Wednesday, September 20, means more Junior Fair competition to start the day! Fairgoers can support 4-H youth as they show the results of their hard work this year. Wednesday’s shows start at 9 am and include:

There’s no sleeping in on Saturday morning! The 4-H shows will start your day with a smile checking out all the shows and booths. You can see what 4-H kids like Hank Lute, Alyssa Renicker, Corrine Hamilton, and Cambri Mushrush are up to!

Saturday night is also time for a 4-H family and friend favorite, the Square Dance at 8:00 pm
Sunday brings an end to the 173rd Annual Tuscarawas County Fair. Livestock will be released at 7:00am and fairgoers can attend the Worship Service, Open Class Beef Judging, sponsored by Sugarcreek Veterinary Clinic and Harness Racing, sponsored by DAC and Carrollton Farmer’s Exchange.
The fair will end with a crash and a bang at 7:30 pm with the Demolition Derby, sponsored by Scott & Lisa Tritt & Family and Commercial & Savings Bank & Shearer’s. This final grandstand event is the perfect way to end a perfect week of festivities, so be sure you’ve got your tickets on hand!
